Claire-Monique Martin is an all-around creator having started off her career in acting. She is the artistic director of Fractured Time Productions.

Screen Credits include:

Katie Cannon Rumble!
KATIE CANNON

NATALIA

Katie Cannon is an Actress, originally from Stoke-On-Trent. She began performing at age 13 when she played Liza Cratchitt in the New Vic Theatre’s ‘A Christmas Carol’. Growing up, Katie performed as part of the New Vic Youth Theatre, National Theatre Connections and Regional Young Actors Ensemble in numerous stage performances. During her emerging career, amongst other things she has acted for screen in an ITV pilot, audio drama for Potboiler theatre company, a dark-comedy web-series for Lost Tapir productions and children’s entertainment at cebeebies land Alton Towers. Katie studied drama and french at the University of Birmingham and is about to graduate her MA Acting course at Guildford School of Acting where she has just performed in The Light Burns Blue directed by Phylida Crowley-Smith and is currently working on a short film.

Roselle Olivia Hirst
ROSELLE OLIVIA HIRST

Roselle is a Northern actor and writer based in London. She trained in Drama at Queen Mary University of London and Hunter College in New York. Her previous credits include: Elle in Two Thirds (Edinburgh Fringe, 2015), Jess in King Charles III (Questor’s Theatre, 2019), Trish in Days of Significance (Questor’s Theatre, 2019) and Rosie in Things I Know To Be True (Questor’s Theatre, 2020). She is currently writing a sitcom and a drama series, as well as producing and directing several short films.

Kerry-Ann Goode

Kerry-Ann Goode’s previous credits includes; Xena in Neighbours in the Sky (Original Radio Drama), Nurse/Journalist in She Wears Scented Rose, Basque in The Misanthrope, Squeamish in The Country Wife, Lady Stutfield in A Woman of No Importance (all at Theatro Technis) and Irina in Three Sisters (The Arts Theatre).

Kerry-Ann is delighted to be part of the production of Rumble!.

Writing credits include Only at the LOST Youth Theatre Festival (winner for Best Actress) and The Link Theatre. 

She is currently working a new play and a novel.

Ian has played varied roles ranging from Valmont (Liaisons Dangereuse), Eddie Carbone (View from the Bridge), Sir (The Dresser), Ralph Nickelby and Newman Noggs  (Nicholas Nickelby), C S Lewis ( Shadowlands), Frank Bryant (Educating Rita), Prospero ( Tempest), Kent (King Lear), Shylock ( Merchant of Venice), Charles (King Charles III) to lighter roles such as Elyiot ( Private Lives), Henry Higgins ( Pygmalion), Gary Essendine  (Present Laughter), Bottom (Midsummer Nights dream), Malvolio (Twelfth Night), Geoffrey (Stepping out), Fitz (Habit of Art), Rev Chasuble (Importance of being Earnest).

Christopher Poke
CHRISTOPHER POKE

‘Christopher Poke was trained at the City Lit., since when he has appeared in a number of plays and films. Over the summer, he played Malvolio in Drama Impact’s tour of ‘Twelfth Night’, and during the 2020 lockdowns, performed online with the improvisation company Three Worlds, and in TSMGO’s production of ‘Troilus and Cressida’. His last modern play was ‘No Bad Women’, a new play about a notorious rape case in the 1990s, in which he played the defence lawyer. His most recent film appearance was in the award-winning short ‘Preservation’ (Mike Walker; 2019).’

Jonathan Forrester
JONATHAN FORRESTER

DAVE/XAVIER

Jonathan Forrester is delighted to be joining the cast of Rumble!, playing Dave/Xavier. He has recently returned from a summer of open-air theatre at the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival, where he played Oberon/Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Antipholus of Ephesus in The Comedy of Errors.

Other recent credits include various productions on the London fringe, including an open-air production of The Tempest in 2020 and the 2019 British Theatre Challenge at the Brockley Jack Studio. He has also toured UK schools in a variety of roles and performances. He trained at Drama Studio London.

Richard Houghton Evans
RICHARD HOUGHTON EVANS

Richard has been acting professionally since 2001, later graduating from The Poor School in 2009. Previous roles include Charles Bovary in “Madame Bovary” for The Theatre Collection, Wilfred Owen in a new play about the last days of his life titled “All About the Boys” for Global Fusion Music and Arts and Charles Darwin’s assistant Joseph Gardner in the UK premier of “Collapsing Creation” for Kākāriki Theatre Company. Much like the rest of the cast and crew, he is excited to finally be able to bring this play to audiences.

Christopher Lloyd James
CHRISTOPHER LLOYD JAMES

NIGEL OWENS

Chris started acting professionally five years ago having successfully completed a number of LAMDA acting certificates. Early on, he landed leading roles in a student film and a horror short. He also appeared in a number of non-speaking roles. This year he has appeared in a music video and completed leading roles in two short films which are both in post-production. Rumble! is his first professional stage role and after the recent hiatus he’s really looking forward to getting on stage.

Martin Balanow has appeared in numerous productions since he started his acting career in the mid seventies. Amongst his numerous credits are, The White Devil, Uncle Vanya, The Cherry Orchard, The Three Sisters and Platonov. However his most memorable role was as the show stealing Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet. A witty, spontaneous actor with a penchant for comedy, Martin is delighted to be involved in the production.

Vittorio Parri
VITTORIO PARRI

STAGE MANAGER

Vittorio Parri, Was born in Switzerland from Italian parents. He trained as an actor at City Lit, before deciding to try his luck at the other end of the stage. He has worked as an Assistant Director, and Rumble is his first job as a stage manager. In his spare time he likes to run, writing poems, collecting art, and have endless chats with his Cat, Cobain.

Aurelie Freoua
AURELIE FREOUA

ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER

Aurelie Freoua is a French artist and performer living and working in London. Aurelie has appeared in a number of films including the feature documentary “The First Film” directed by David Wilkinson that won Best Documentary Feature at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2015. Aurelie studied art as well and completed an MA in Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts, London 2016. She also participated in the Slade Summer School.

ASSISTANT STAGE MANAGER

David was always actively involved in school productions (many, many years ago !) and has always been an avid supporter of live theatre. However, it’s only been over the past few fears that he has become actively involved in productions, primarily at The Tower Theatre, Stoke Newington. He recently supported our Director, Yasir Senna, at The Tower’s production of A passage to India and is delighted to have been asked to help out with the stage management of ‘Rumble’. He is excited to be involved in his first production here at The Drayton Arms.

Leo Bacica
LEO BACICA

LIGHTING DESIGNER

Leo Băcica has been a technician for the past two decades. He is also the director of Kibo Productions and he focuses on producing Romanian plays for English-speaking audiences. He directed his first English performance of A Lost Letter (O scrisoare pierdută) by I.L. Caragiale, produced Iona by Marin Sorescu in Great Britain and US and Cătălina Florescu’s Suicidal Dog and Laika.

Veronica Sarno
VERONICA SARNO

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Verônica Sarno is a professional actress graduated in Brazil at Escola Superior de Artes Célia Helena, in England at Drama Centre London and Russia at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute. The base of her training is the Stanislavski System.
She has worked extensively in film and theatre productions in Brazil and England, including the award winning two-year Brazilian national tour of Spur of the Moment by Anya Reiss and most recently the feature Anonymous by Alasdair Mackay.
As well as an actress, Verônica also works as a voice over artist and manages her own teaching business Scene Study Verônica Sarno working as an acting and voice tutor.
As a director, she has worked on Adela and Martirio for FestelõnOff Festival in London, Ground Bird by Cris Eli Blak for the Moonlit 24-hour Theatre Festival in the USA, Indigestion by Linda Jane butler for the Lights On Showcase in London and Screams from a Marriage by Valerie Mitchell-Johnston for the Moonlit 24-hour Theatre Summer Festival in the USA.

Rebecca Lyon - Producer
REBECCA LYON

PRODUCER

Rebecca has worked in theatre as a technician, director, writer and producer of fringe theatre. After working as an assistant director for Razor Sharp Production’s, “She wears Scented Rose”, she now joins the team as a producer. 

Rumble! is her second foray into producing after her production of ‘A Modest Little Man’ at the Bread and Roses in 2019. She has previously directed I.E.D (N16) and Moseley Must Fall (JW3). She enjoys bringing life into new writing through innovative and exciting ways.

Rehearsed readings; At Risk, Bluffing for Britain (Horse and Stables) Locked In, Mozart with the Morrisons, I.E.D, Kelly Kan Do (Player Playwrights).
Whilst studying; Medea (Rehearsed Reading) Lost in Yonkers (Bella’s Excerpt) David’s Last Day (Showcase).
Rebecca also works as a sound and lighting designer.
Yasir Senna - Writer and Director
YASIR SENNA

WRITER/DIRECTOR

Yasir Senna is an actor, writer, director and producer. Recent acting credits include, “Hafeez” in Sky TV’s, “The Lady Killers”, “Salomon Pillory” in Witkiewicz’s, “They” and “Hamidullah” in “A Passage to India”. He has also played, “Prince” in “Romeo and Juliet” and “Solyony” in “The Three Sisters”.

However, his biggest artistic success came through the staging of his play, “She wears Scented Rose” in 2017 and 2018 which received considerable critical acclaim. He is currently developing another script which should be ready for staging in a few years’ time.
