Simon Ryerson
SIMON RYERSON

– ROBERT / DAVID NICHOLLS

Simon trained at the London Centre for Theatre Studies and has appeared in a number of short films, developmental works, new writings and one commercial advert. Most of his work has been on the stage covering a wide variety of styles and genres among which include the classical “Antigone”, the Jacobean Drama “Tis pity she a whore”, Renaissance comedy “The Would be Gentleman”, comedy musical “Karaoke Wedding”, touring productions of “The African Company presents Richard the Third” and “Tom Dick and Harry”.
He has appeared in previous Razor Sharp productions of “She Wears Scented Rose” and “Rumble”.
HELENA HEAVEN

– AMBER / DC LEVY

Helena Heaven is an Actress originally from Surrey. She trained at London South Bank University in BA Acting & Performance and is currently in Screen Actor training at Middleweek Newton Actors Academy.
Her previous credits include: Roxanne in Moulin Rouge (Esher Theatre, 2017), Hedda in Hedda Gabler (Southbank Collective, 2020), Teiresias in The Bacchae (Southbank Collective, 2021), Lori in Leaves (London Southbank Theatre Company, 2022), Gill in Mind The Gap (New York Theatre Workshop Company, 2022), Harriet in Scenes From A World That Has No Night (RedBrick Theatre Company, 2023). Helena is currently filming for a short film playing the lead.

HELEN MATTHEWS

– PC STECKLEN / DC STECKLEN

Helen trained at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London and The Acting Studio in New York (studying with original Meisner pupil James Price).
Her theatre credits include Kat in Wednesday’s Child in New York, and parts in new writing plays at Theatre 503, Courtyard Theatre, Union Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre and Pleasance Theatre, in London. She has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as Magrat in Wryd Sisters (C Venues) and Myra in And All The Children Cried (Sweet Venues/New End Theatre).
She has recently completed filming for the Angel Media/RoarLight Productions online tv series ‘Testament.’
Helen is also a writer of plays and prose.

Richard Houghton Evans
RICHARD HOUGHTON EVANS

Richard has been acting since the early 2000’s, later graduating from the Poor School in ’09. Prince David marks his second production with Yasir, having previously played the antagonist Peter in his satire “Rumble!” He is excited to work with Razor Sharp Productions once more, this time playing a very different character.

NABHAN UDDIN

– DC YOUNIS

Nabhan is an actor pursuing his passion for theatre whilst working in consulting during the day. He has performed on stage in numerous productions in London, and will be completing his Acting Diploma from Central in 2024. Nabhan is excited to be performing with this talented cast and to tell this story which strikes at the heart of current social issues.

CHRISTOPHER POKE

– DI HAREWOOD / DCI MORGAN

This is Christopher’s second role for Razor Sharp Productions, having played the feckless company director Ian in Yasir Senna’s ‘Rumble’ in 2021. Since finishing training at the City Lit in 2011, he has appeared in a number of plays and films, from outdoor Shakespeare with the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival, and with the touring company Drama Impact, to the award-winning film ‘Preservation’, which explored the issue of dementia. Most recently he starred in the short ‘I Won’t Be Long, Love’, which was selected for the 2024 Romford Horror International Film Festival.

KIERATH JANDOO

– TIFFANY / DC HIRANI

Having grown up enjoying performing in all its forms, Kierath Jandoo is a trained on-screen actor who took up acting during lockdown and has since appeared in a variety of short and feature films. Kierath has had voiceover, commercial and directing experience across stage and film and is also a singer-songwriter. 
TV & Film credits include: I Killed Solomon Reid (Hypericum Films), The Bystanders (Waggon & Horses Productions), Dimension Slip (Peracals Productions), It’s the Blackness (Talking Drum Entertainment), The Sun Also Rises (Move Mountains Productions) Checkpoints (RS Productions), Punch Up (Parakeet Media) and Rebels With Cause (Waterbear Productions X IMAGINES).
Stage credits include: Merry Wives (Film On Film Entertainment Ltd), Out The Box (Workshop), Keep It Down (Camden Fringe), Glitch Please! (Cockpit Theatre) and RENT 24hr Musical (Ocean Theatre).

NATASHA VASSELL

– DC ALLEN / COMMISSIONER BARKLEY

Natasha Vassell is a London based actress and writer with experience spanning stage, screen and audio. Her recent credits include: Bridgerton (Netflix 2024), TopBoy (Netflix 2023), GrimeKids (BBC 2023), Our Father (Theatro Technis, Camden Fringe 2023), 1in4 (Nottingham Arts Theatre 2023). Currently training with Maktub Theatre Company, Natasha has also received training from Identity School of Acting.

BEN GAD BRIGGS

– WAITER / MICHAEL

Ben Gad-Briggs is an actor hailing from Nottinghamshire who has lived in London since 2007. As well as a year’s training at Kingdom Drama School, his theatre credits include plays such as Fatherless Son, Life Begins @ 40 and the recently performed Without Planning Permission. Musical credits are Walking Blind and the award winning Domitius (Winner of 3 awards at the BBTAs 2022). To add, he has featured in the audio play If Cain Were Abel, the webseries Wayne and Wesley and short films such as Finding The Light: A Covid 19 Response. Furthermore, he has been in music videos by various independent artists.
Outside of acting, Ben is a singer/songwriter going by the name Bgbgb with solo music on YouTube, SoundCloud and all other digital platforms. He is currently promoting his album, It Should All Work Out In The End. In his spare time, he is a backing vocalist in the alternative soul band, Art Terry and the Black Bohemians.  He is also a member of The Black Men’s Consortium, who do outreach and highlight mental health struggles amongst men of African and Caribbean descent through theatre.

WENDY PARRY

– SET DESIGN & COSTUMES

Wendy originally trained in Architecture before moving into Set Design.
She has worked for BBC Wales and in fringe theatre, as well as on many short films.
This is her fourth collaboration with Razor Sharp Productions, having worked on ‘Rumble!’ 2014 and ‘She Wears Scented Rose’ 2015 and 2017.

BARBARA DUNIN

– ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Barbara is an actor and creative based in London. She graduated from London School of Dramatic Art in 2022 with an Advanced Diploma in Acting. 
She previously worked with Director Yasir Senna on “Trumpets and Raspberries” (Barons Court Theatre 2022). Other acting credits include “Image of an Unknown Young Woman” (Union Theatre 2022), “This is Where We Came In” (Westacre Theatre 2019), “Outside Edge” (Westacre Theatre 2021). 
When not acting she enjoys watching period dramas on Netflix, knitting her next garment and physical activity.
 “Prince/David” is her first experience as assistant director and she’s very excited to be bringing this story to audiences!

CLAIRE STOKES

– MAKE UP ARTIST

Claire Stokes is a trainee Hair and Makeup Artist, and graduate from The Iver Makeup Academy.
Since graduating in December 2022, she has been fortunate enough to work on a number of theatre shows with Questors and Wyllyotts Theatre, most of which were Pantomimes. She really enjoyed working on all of these shows, letting her skills shine on stage as well as applying various techniques depending on the theme.
She has also worked on a number of short films throughout the year. One of them being Albion, which has been submitted for a Film Festival.

REBECCA LYON

– LIGHTING DESIGN AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Rebecca has worked as a lighting designer and theatre technician for the past 5 years in London. Her most recent works include Broken (Riverside Studios), Kissed by a flame (Pleasance Theatre) Do iPhones Dream of Electric Sheeple (Lion and Unicorn) Miss Margerida’s way (Brighton Fringe) and Glad to be dead (Hen and Chickens). She regularly works as a technician at the Pleasance Theatre and the Etcetera Theatre.
YASIR SENNA

– DIRECTOR

Yasir Senna is an actor/ writer/ director. On the acting front he has recently had roles in, “Trumpets and Raspberries”, “Our Country’s Good”, and Sky TV’s, “The Lady Killers”. “Prince / David “, is his third venture as a writer and director following the critical success of, “Rumble!” and “She Wears Scented Rose”.
